Bill Murphy is an Irish Actor, Voice-over Artist, Singer, Filmmaker and Writer who has worked extensively throughout the world on stage and film in a career spanning over thirty years.

Bill's most recent credits include The Christmas Break (working title) - due for release this year - in which he played the character JerryThe Gone, a TVNZ/RTE co-production, playing Superintendent Walsh, and Vikings Valhalla on Netflix, in which he played the character Ödger.

Bill has an impressive back catalogue of Theatre work in Ireland, including the National Theatre of Ireland (Abbey Theatre), most recently on the world premiere of Joyce's Women written by Edna O'Brien, originating the role of Zozimus, and also on Abbey CallingDear Ireland Continues and The Country Girls.

From 2015 to 2017, Bill worked on the production Once The Musical, directed by John Tiffany, playing the character Da at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin and in Seoul in South Korea to huge critical acclaim.

Bill has also just released his own short film Lily's Theme which is playing at various film festivals around the world.

Did you know that Bill is also an accomplished Martial Artist, sea swimmer, ice swimmer and Yoga Teacher!

He worked as a Personal Trainer in the early years while making his way as an actor, and his favourite way to commute is on his classic Suzuki Bandit!
